Amazing pictures Raji. Love the composition and lighting. Guess you upgraded your camera. Do you use remote/slave flash? Do you mind telling what your gear is?

@chiru lets see how long i can do that 😉 chiru is chiru
@SP thx a bunch. am glad u were here. thats when i really went into ur cookbook. truly awesome. i should say am impressed more 😉
@chetana first of all. luv ur site. luv the title. i finished watching every single shot u put there. pirates shot is my fav. though
i have been to atlanta twice. the first thing that reminds me is the traffic. uffffffffff
well i use nikon D 200 with 18-200mm nikkor lens. i bought it together and thats it. no flash. i somehow like the sunlight…….need to learn how to use flash though 😉
truly i make 0.1% use of it which i hate…..
u keep ur site going. luv ur posts 🙂
andhra recipes are rarely seen ,tasted and experieced outside AP,unlike dishes from other states in India.even a big city like Mumbai does not have an Andhra restaurant.people here really do not what they are missing..your site is a boon to food lovers all over..keep it strong and running………
Great initiative. Love the pictures too, keep it up.
Rajji……. what about non/veg recipes………just a thought..
@rithesh thx a lot. you got a cool blog. i miss mine 😦
@cc johnson mumbai thx a lot for lovely comments.
Till now i have no idea abt what you said abt andhra restaurants in mumbai.
but s tamil recipes or other south indian restaurant count surely is more than andhra ones.
btw i dont eat N/V. so dont cook it. may be in future… if am short of veg. recipes 😉
what i meant was, that there are no” exclusive” restaurants in Mumbai that serve only Andhra dishes.Earlier(20 years back)there was one named “ANDHRA LEAF” at Lamington Road but it shut shop very early….God knows why…..probably because it came in just too early…..by the way……. where do u operate”TALIMPU” from???
philadelphia 🙂
Thanks for all the good words about my blog Raji! I wish my blog is worth those words. So you don’t use flash? then how do you get that lighting? Do you use a tripod and longer exposure with other sources of light? I love your pictures and your equipment. Good luck!
WOW…amazing pictures..will definitely check back…
jai raaji this site is awesome u did a very great job
Hi Raji, thanks for participating in meme… Your meme is very cool and some funny too….Your photos are simply superb. Thanks for sharing those.
Hi Anusha,
Amazing site, recipes and pictures! It’s 11.20am here and i’m getting really hungry after going through the site. I cook too (i hate eating frozen food) but nothing which looks so delicious. I’m sure the pictures are only an understatement of the taste itself!
P.S – Can you start a small section of easy-to-cook recipes (or maybe link some of the existing recipes) for bachelors like me, please…We guys eat gobi-matar almost 2-3 times a week because we don’t know how to use the veggies avlbl here (i’m in the u.s too) and although cauliflower is one of my favs, it’s getting kinda monotonous 🙄 .
~Ajay

Hi,
I once had a delicious curry at a Tamilian Friend’s house which I have tried in vain to get hold of a recipe for. It was a curry made with boiled peanuts. My guess is her mom just improvised & used peanuts, coz I’ve never come across it since! Would anyone out there have a recipe you are willing to share?

The Goddess of Food brings new recipe every day,
Not for the people, who don’t get even a meal a day,
Displays the rules of cooking with passion,
Turns blind where there is a need for compassion,
Adulation plays music satiating her ears,
Glorification obscures the famished and starving tears.
You are doing a wonderful job. Your services are also required for the needy.

Hi, thanks, good photos, and also you are covering all Andhra recipes, is there any book, ( may be e-book), that can be purchased.. Bestwishes
Hello Raji,
My husband is Telugu and he feels that Andhra food is the best in the world. So, in order to please him, I surfed the net looking for a good website featuring Andhra food. It was at this point in time that I came across your DELIGHTFUL site and I quickly realized that my search had come to an end.
Your recipies are so systematic and detailed. The explanation is very easy to follow. The variety is simply fabulous and the best part, I must say, is the visual appeal. Your photos just make me want to run home and start preparing the dish!
Thank you so much for your dedication to this site. Needless to say, my husband is quite pleased! Please do keep up the EXCELLENT work.
LR
P.S. My brother-in-law (husband’s bro) recently got married and he too is giving his wife trouble by not eating. So, I suggested your site to them….I’m sure it will do wonders!
@satya nothing like a book right now but all the recipes on this site are free. Feel free to print them by clicking print link that you see on each post.

Hello Raji,
Thanks for your website, every recipe i tried is so simple and come out really good, I am a mother of two boys 5 and 3, they never ate capsicum before, they loved the red capsicum rasam. Your spinach rice is a big hit for St patricks day potluck lunch at work!!
You made my cooking easier and interesting! keep up the good work. the pictures are so mouth watering and drive me to cook.

Hi Raji,
For the first time in my life, I clicked on something that appeared in Google Ads. And god, am I thankful!!!!
Your site is too good. The first thing that attracted to your site is the name. I did not know what it meant. Now from reading the recipes, I think it means ‘chhaunk’ or ‘baghar’ in Hindi. Correct me if I am wrong.
I just LOVE the photographs. In fact, they play an equal role in making your site attractive – equal role to your recipes themselves.
Thanks soooo much for your continous updates as well.
Love,
Vee Dee.
Hi Raji,
