Ingredients:
Cashew Nuts 1 cup
Ginger 1 inch piece
Lemon Juice 1 tbsp
Green Chiles 2
Salt to taste
Talimpu:
Urad Dal 1/2 tsp
Cumin Seeds 1/2 tsp
Mustard Seeds 1/2 tsp
Broken Red Chiles 2
Curry Leaves 3
Oil 1 tsp
Method of preparation:
Remove stems, wash and roughly chop green chiles.
Peel and mince the ginger.
Grind cashews along with green chiles, ginger, lemon juice and salt into paste.
Remove onto a serving bowl.
Heat oil in a small pan, add all talimpu ingredients in order.
When dal changes color, remove from heat and add to above cashew chutney bowl.
