Bell Peppers Stir Fry

Butta Pacchi Mirapakayala Kura

Ingredients:

Small Bellpeppers 6
Ginger 1 inch piece
Salt to taste

Talimpu:

Urad Dal 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds 1 tsp
Mustard Seeds 1 tsp
Broken Red Chiles 4
Curry Leaves 4
Oil 1 tsp

Method of preparation:

Peel and mince ginger.
Wash, remove stems, remove inner seeds and chop bell peppers into quarters.

Heat oil in a pan, add all talimpu ingredients in order.
When mustard seeds start spluttering, add chopped bell peppers, ginger and salt.
Cook covered on medium flame by stirring frequently until bell peppers turn soft.
Uncover and stir fry until almost all the moisture is gone.
Serve hot with steamed rice and ghee.

Notes: Make sure not to overcook bell peppers.
