Onion 1 small
Khus Khus 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil 1 tbsp
Method of preparation:
Wash, peel and dice sweet potatoes.
Peel and chop onion.
Remove stems, wash and chop green chiles.
Pulse the onion and green chiles along with khus khus briefly.
Heat oil in a pan, add diced sweet potatoes and salt.
Cook covered on medium flame for 5 minutes stirring occasionally.
Make sure the sweet potato is soft and cooked.
Stir fry on high flame for few seconds, add the ground onion chili paste.
Cook covered on low flame for a minute or until the raw smell of onion is gone.
Serve hot with rice.
Notes: Take care not the mash the sweet potato pieces while stirring.
