Sweet Lassi

Teepi Majjiga


Plain Yogurt 1 cup
Cold Water 3/4 cup
Sugar 2-4 tbsps
Green Cardamom 1 pod
Pinch of salt

Method of preparation:

Remove the seeds out of cardamom and crush them a little.
Whisk all the ingredients together for 2-3 minutes.
Pour into glasses and serve cold over ice.

Notes: Add half a tsp of rose water if you wish.

    We used to have it regularly as kids, bcos I came from a punjabi background. Haven’t had this for years.
