Ingredients:
Sesame Seeds 1 cup
Jaggery 1/4 cup
Cardamom 1
Method of preparation:
Lightly bruise the cardamom, remove seeds and mash them lightly.
Heat a pan on medium-low, add sesame seeds and few tbsps of water.
Roast the seeds until all the water evaporates and keep aside.
Heat a deep vessel on medium flame, add jaggery, cardamom seeds and few tbsps of water.
When the syrup becomes thick like honey, remove from heat and add sesame seeds.
Quickly transform the mixture into small balls using hands before it cools down.
Notes: Make sure sesame seeds puff up by adding good amount of water.
