Red chilli powder to taste
Salt to taste

Method of preparation:
Wash, remove ends and slice bittergourd into thin circles.
Peel and crush garlic along with red chilli powder and salt using a pestle.
Heat oil in a pan on medium-high flame and add bittergourd slices.
Stir-fry until for 5-10 minutes or until the slices turn dark.
Remove from heat, add garlic red chilli mixture and mix well.
Serve hot with rice and ghee.
Notes: To make the bittergourd crisp, leave for few more minutes on stove.
