Fenugreek Seeds 2 tsps
Plain Yogurt 2 cups
Green Chillies 1
Curry Leaves 2
Salt to taste
Urad Dal 1/2 tsp
Mustard Seeds 1/4 tsp
Cumin Seeds 1/4 tsp
Broken Red Chillies 2
Oil 1 tsp
Method of preparation:
Soak fenugreek seeds in water for 2-4 hrs.
Lightly bruise the curry leaves.
Remove stem, wash and finely chop green chilli.
In a vessel, add yogurt, soaked fenugreek seeds, bruised curry leaves and salt.
Heat oil in small pan, add all talimpu ingredients in order.
When urad dal turns light brown, remove from heat and add chopped green chilli.
Add this talimpu to above yogurt mixture.
Mix thoroughly and serve chillied.
Notes: Add few sprigs of cilantro for enhanced taste.
