Ingredients:
Garlic 3-5 pods
Red Chilli Powder 2 tbsps
Salt 1 tbsp
Oil 3 tbsps
Method of preparation:
Remove skins and mash the garlic pods.
In a bowl, mix mashed garlic, red chilli powder, salt and oil thoroughly.
Serve with rice or rice roti or wada…
Notes: Prepare fresh when needed.

Aah, now this one I won’t get away with. If you catch my husband on a bad day, he will say the only place for vellullipayi is in vellulli avakayi; on a good day, he doesn’t mind it if it is a subtle flavor in the background in a dish. The boldest I can be is in making tzatziki for Greek night (that reminds me, I should blog about that).
Anyway, I just had to write and say that your photograph of the garlic itself is phenomenal! To my mind you could sell that as a stock picture – it should be the definitive photograph of garlic.
