Plantain/ rawbanana/ hara kela 1
Green chillies 3-5
Ginger 1 inch piece
Salt to taste
Method of preparation:
Peel and cut plantain into thin circles.
Dip them in sufficient amount of water and microwave for 8-10min.
Grind ginger and green chillies into coarse paste.
Heat oil in a pan and add cooked plantain circles, above ground paste and salt.
Fry them tossing frequently for 3-6min.
Serve with hot rice and ghee.
Notes: You can do the talimpu with mustard seeds and urad dal if you wish.
Be careful not to overcook banana slices.
