Need Diigo Invites?

Diigo (dee’go) is a free online social bookmarking and annotation service. It offers an integrated, simple-to-use platform to let you easily annotate, bookmark, share and discover online contents.

so yet another social bookmarking service. I always looked for annotation softwares but hardly found a couple. Even those found are real crap. I never came across this kinda service before.

I was still diigoing. so will get back with reviews when i finish.

Take a look at the flash tutorial which is more insightful than the above lines.

Meanwhile if u need an invite(Diigo is invite based), leave a comment
btw one more to the toolbars stuff…uffffff. but i like the way it bookmarks simultaneously to delicious(a big fan of it).

    i have been hearing a lot about delicious and stuff actually wat is it we can bookmark it on our pc right then why bookmark it in a site ???

    yo karthik
    as i said its web based social bookmarking…..
    so obv. u can access the bookmarks from anywhere in its primary sense….
    tagging and searching is smt missing from local bookmarks….so its good at it

    Actually if by tagging u mean them putting in gruops then i have put mine in different gruops in my browser but as u said i guess the main feature is u can access it from anywhere around the world.

    tagging is more of placing the same bookmark in multiple groups at once….which is more diff. if u mean folder groups..
    but yes it does help lot of other people like qwerty said :)

    @karthik I would like to explain some key advantages fo del.icio.us and social bookmarking.

    I had problem earlier remembering all sites ( we can’t remember 1000 sites can we ? ) and was always faced a problem when I had to work on something from my college , house or friends house. Now with del.icio.us I don’t need to worry.

    Also since it is a social bookmarking tool, you will be surprised if you find many interesting and useful sites through it. Just do a random search on some topic of your interest and am sure you will find some cool new sites.

    @anusharaji . I heard about diggo at http://www.solutionwatch.com and would really like an invite to try it out ;)

    Ah, another diigo user :) Unfortunately i managed to screw up my invite and now can’t get it to work. Any chance you could re-invite me?
    Also a big fan of del.icio.us, and trying furl too.

    I’ve been profiling many of the social bookmarking services lately and have yet to find one that provides the features (especially annotations and cached copies of the page), simplicity and usability I need. Many of the services I’ve tried (furl, sprul, delicious, shadows, blinklist, etc) have some of my needs, but none have them all. It looks like Diigo might be the answer. I would very much appreciate an invite and the opportunity to test this potentially great app.
